The 10,000 head CAFO permitted Timpas Feedyard is situated on 351.59 +/- acres located in the heart of the Arkansas Valley, between Rocky Ford and Swink, Colorado. This agricultural area is known for producing abundant corn, cane, alfalfa, cattle and, of course, world famous Rocky Ford melons. Timpas Feedyard is CAFO permitted for 10,000 head with a total of 10,798 feet of bunk space, providing 1,547,599 square feet of pen space. The mill has capabilities of cracked corn production but will need system repairs to steam flake. Amenities include an office, vehicle shop, commodity shed, mill, truck scale, cattle scale, two hospitals, a horse barn and a 3 bedroom home. Timpas has 3 wells, two of which have variable drive controls, and 2 New Dale/ Grand Valley water taps, one is used for the office and the house.
